Highly sought after for its unique nutty and and strong umami flavor. The "Olive Wagyu"cattle are raised in the mild climate of Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, famous for its olive oil. This region is home to the Sanuki Olive-Fed Wagyu of which there are only 1700 head.
Raised on a special feed of dehydrated and roasted mulch of olives, this Wagyu has become famous for its high levels of monounsaturated fats (The Good Fat), distinct yellow color and nutty flavor.
